Family Curclionidae
Most people when thinking about Curculionidae (Weevils) think about small unattractive beetles that wreck havoc as agricultural or stored product pests.
The forty or so Eupholus or Painted Weevils feed on Wild Yam leaves, but hardly
qualify as unattractive! Many are rare or hard to get, but as a Genus they are
fast becoming popular in the insect collecting world. A very good book on
identifying these beetles is available.
